Yep.  It's not rocket science to understand that we need taxes to fund the government.  If taxes are cut then we must borrow more.  The modern GOP is not "small government."  It's only concern is to give the appearance of wanting small government when the reality is they want less government oversight of business so the rich can get richer with no constraints.   More pollution, fewer benefits to workers, fewer safety laws, a return to the way it was earlier in our history when there were no unions and no laws to ensure workers were treated fairly and not exposed to unsafe working conditions..  That is what they really mean and want.
