My husband and I have been married 32 years, we have 2 grown daughters that are successful in their lives.

My husband and I are both retired, not because we want to be, but because of health issues, I retired in 2014 after working the last 10 years in the juvenile justice system when my health got out of control and my drs told me if I didn't retire, I'd be seriously jeopardizing my life.

Hubby was forced to retire when a new security company refused to rehire him due to him having been in a rehabilitation center as an inpatient for 2 weeks and him not able to work fulltime on site while finishing his rehabilitation as an outpatient twice a week with neuropsychologist and occupational and cognative therapys, the Security company that took over his site claimed they dont do rehired, we just recently found out that was a lie, they didn't want to hire him due to his TBI.

He is now trying to get disability from social security.

We live in Oregon for now, eventually we're  moving over to Central Oregon.

We are empty nesters but all three of the kids live nearby so we see them and talk to them. Mr still works, I stopped to help tend my Mom after I had to move her here when Dad passed. We're in NY and probably always will be.
if you don't think, you drown.

I am a SAHM/housewife. I'm 37 and DH and I have been married for almost 18 years. Our oldest is 19 and will be graduating HS in May. Our second daughter is a sophomore, and the twins are in 6th grade. I do everything around the house, and DH is a commercial account rep for Oreilly's. He has been there 8 years. I also take care of my parents who live next door to us.

I've been a stay-at-homeschool mom for the last 9 1/2 years to one child (DD--16 1/2). My DH works as a Produce Inspector. We've been together 18 years on 8/1/19. He's going to be 43 at the end of the year; I'm 56 in Feb. of '20.
I would love to move somewhere new. This area is extremely rural, no shopping, and the people have really changed and not in a good way.
We've had tons of family death and upheaval that has left us reeling. The last ten years have been very stressful.
My daughter finally reached the end of the compulsory age span six months ago, and today I received the reporting form from the school district. Our local school district is an epic fail for various reasons.
