We have a long time before we have to my hubby has settle on a name since I am due in Jan however already started discussing them. I think we are almost certain of a boy name- at least for a first name. We both still love the name we would have used for our daughter had she been a boy. Now that our daughter is 8 though she is also offering input on what she likes for names. I am sure this is going to get interesting when we finally do decide on a name.

I tend to like more unique names- when I was in high school there were at least 2 other Amanda's with me in every class. I hated that teachers had to call us by our last names for everything so we avoided that with our daughter and hopefully can avoid that as well with this baby.

with my son, his name,i had picked out several years before i got married. it is a family name and was non negotiable. his initials spell out the 1st half of my husbands name. my husband got lucky there. it was as close to a jr. as he was going to get.  with my daughter i pretty much thought of names i really liked and ran them by my husband. she was a girl so he didnt really have many ideas.

I don't know what I'm having yet so I haven't really thought much about names. I'm still trying to wrap my head around having another baby. My 5 year old wants to name the baby George. I have no idea why.
