It wouldn't be Christmas without...
« on: December 04, 2018, 08:24:47 pm »
The annual what's the worst gift you've ever received post.

So what is the worst you've ever received?

I'll start. The thing that stands out to me most was the year someone gave me maternity clothes, for summer...when I wasn't pregnant. They were also 3 sizes too big. That was the same year dh was gifted a mousepad. We don't own a desktop and haven't ever had one.

Lucky you!  Those are really the only things that stand out for me. I know there have been several others that I just sort of had to say thank you and then puzzle over later,  but I cant remember what they were now.

Workout clothes in a large...Iím a medium

Pink boots in a size 6 from hubby...I wear a size 7 1/2 and only grey, brown or black boots. He admitted he picked something random from Walmart the day before Christmas Eve

Also a random bright fuzzy red blanket also from Walmart bought on the 23rd. I tell him what I want but never get it. So now i just buy my own and thank him

Yup, it says "Happy Easter". At the time worst gift ever, now it's one of our favorite Christmas traditions. We still don't know why she sent it me.

I dread getting clothes from most people. They just totally miss the mark.

A lamp. It was a nice tall standing lamp. It wasn't ugly. Just not a gift you want from your husband.
