I don't believe in a god so no I don't believe in that saying.  I've been under an incredible amount of stress these past several years.  And no loving deity would do that to anyone.  I'm sorry your dealing with all of that.

Sorry you are going through all this. I hope you have cut your son off until he is clean, anything else is enabling them according to the experts. Dogs are some of the best "free" therapy you can find. I'd check out a rescue group and tell them your situation and make sure you get a dog that is not going to be a lot of work. My friend had als and had a dog that went everywhere with him, sat on his lap in his wheelchair and slept next to him every night. Between his sons and that little dog it made life a little "more" for him.

I think that's what people tell themselves so they can cope. I personally believe life can be a big ol bitch but we must persevere.

I hope things turn around for you.

If you find the right breed for your lifestyle a dog would be fairly easy. Thereís a website somewhere that can help you with that.

Beyond that, Iím sorry, life is what it is sometimes and all you can do is try an move forward.

if God were real, and didn't give people more than they could handle, then there would be no suicides.

I always say this! Like, that was someone who literally could not handle any more.

I really wish things were better. I can only imagine how stressful and difficult all this must be.
Be sure to take care of your needs and please, be kind to yourself. You could use it.

I REALLY hate that saying. People mean well, but I just want to scream, "I can prove I can handle things without being made to feel like I wanna jump off a bridge! I've had enough of being tested!!" Oop, sorry. I got a little into my feelings lol

I do hope things get much better for you quickly!
